TikTok Video Scorer
Paste a TikTok link and get an instant, two-sided read on how the video actually performed: how it did against the creator's own baseline, and how it did against the rest of the niche. It's the same dual score that powers ViralVault — free, and no account needed.
Three steps, no account
- 1
Paste the link
Copy any TikTok video URL (tiktok.com/@handle/video/…) and drop it in. No login, no install, nothing to download.
- 2
We pull the real numbers
We match the video to ViralVault's index and read its views, likes, comments and shares — alongside the creator's own median and the niche median.
- 3
You get two scores
A Creator Score (views ÷ the creator's median) and a Niche Score (views ÷ the niche median). When both run hot, you've found a format worth copying.
How the score is calculated
Most “TikTok analyzers” just echo a view count back at you. But a view count means nothing without a baseline — 200,000 views is a flop for one creator and a breakout for another.
ViralVault scores every video twice. The Creator Score divides the video's views by that creator's own 30-day median, so a 9.2× means the video did more than nine times the creator's typical post. The Niche Score divides by the niche median, so you can see whether it beat the whole category, not just the account.
Both are index scores where 100 equals the baseline (1.0×). We show them as plain multipliers so they're readable at a glance, and attach a tier — Performing, Outlier, Viral, Mega — for quick context.
Numbers you can act on
A single video that beats both baselines is the strongest signal there is that a format — not luck — is driving the result. That's the pattern worth studying and replicating across your own content.
Inside ViralVault you can score unlimited videos, track them over time, and open the full format breakdown behind any outlier. This free scorer is the first taste of that.
Common questions
Is the TikTok Video Scorer free?
Yes — it's completely free and needs no account. Paste a link and you'll get the dual score immediately.
Which videos can I score?
Any TikTok video that's already in ViralVault's index. If we haven't crawled it yet, we'll tell you honestly instead of inventing a number — try a video from a creator we track.
What's the difference between the Creator Score and the Niche Score?
The Creator Score compares the video to that creator's own typical performance; the Niche Score compares it to the median across the whole niche. A video can be viral on one and average on the other.
What does a score like 9.2× mean?
It's a multiple of the baseline. 9.2× against the creator means the video did 9.2 times the creator's median views. 1.0× is exactly average; anything above that is outperformance.
Can I score my own TikToks?
If your videos are indexed, yes. To score every video you post automatically and track them over time, create a free ViralVault account.
